Gemini can act as the default AI provider for itinerary generation. The business chooses the model without changing the trip-planning workflow.
If the preferred Gemini model is unavailable or rate-limited, the CRM can try alternate Gemini model options so generation does not fail immediately. The integration is designed as a repeatable CRM workflow, not a fragile one-time AI experiment.

Gemini is told to behave like a travel planner, maintain realistic routing, use practical timings, and return professional client-friendly content.

If the preferred model is rate-limited, the CRM tries alternates. If Gemini returns malformed JSON, an automatic repair step requests corrected output before failing.
